Puppet Story

Here is the story the kids wrote for their puppets. I am so impressed. Four imaginations creating a story. They did an awesome job. When Jeremy and Naomi came home from work everyone took their puppet and we acted the story out. I was mommy the bird. Jeremy was Daddy the bird. Kayden was Spidy the spider, Brooklyn was Racoony Raccoon, Ben was Froggy the Frog, Chandler was Chandler the ally cat, Naomi was Snowball the bunny.

Chapter 1
Once upon a time there were two birds a mommy bird and a daddy bird.
Mommy & Dad birds were flying in the sky when suddenly the saw “Spidy the Spider” Daddy bird thought that spidy the spider would be yummy in his tummy. So he asked mommy to come help him capture spidy the spider. Mommy & daddy created a plan to swoop down and catch that spider.
The spider saw the birds and said “please don’t eat me. I’m not yummy how about we be friends?”
Daddy bird said “sorry little pal you look yummy!”
Mommy bird said “on the count of three One.. Two.. Three. Go”
Spidy the spider is now flying through the air. The birds take him to their nest high in a tree. Mommy bird says. “We still need more food let’s leave spidy the spider here and continue to hunt. “ Mommy & Daddy left to go hunting.
Spidy the spider is all alone in the birds nest high in a tree.
“Oh boo hoo I’m all alone I need to find a friend that can help me get out of this nest and back on the ground.”
Just then the Racoon comes and climbs the tree, She sees spidy the spider inside the nest and she said “Hello my name is racoony I can help you, my friend the tree frog can help you with his long tonge. Lets call him together. One… Two… Three”
“Froogy, Froogy, Froogy, Froggy”
Froggy was playing in a nearby pond when he heard his name.
“WAIT is someone calling my name? That sounds like my friend Racoony, I bettergo find her.” Hop Hop Hop
Finally froggy gets to the tree where Racoony and spidy are. Froggy climbs up the tree. “Hello Racoony, How are you?” “oh Froggy I am find but my new friend Spidy is stuck in this nest and he needs our help.”
Frooggy said “okay racoony I can help him” Froggy begins to catch the spider with his tongue.
“Aweeee he is after me” said Spidey. “Look there is a crack I’m going to hide.
“Wait” said Racoony, don’t go he’s trying to help you get out of this birds nest and on the ground.”
“What” Are you crazy he is going to eat me with his long tongue?”
Froggie said, “I’m not going to eat you. I can keep my tongue out the whole time I carry you down.”
Don’t worry Spidy the spider it’s okay he didn’t eat me when I was stuck as a little baby. It’s okay he is my best friend. He can help you too.” Racoony said
“So spidy doe you want help or what?” Froggy asked a little annoyed.
“yes, I would love help froggy, but can we do it my way? Can I just climb on your back and you carry me down?”
“Okay that’s a great idea, oh know I see the birds coming. Hurry climb on my back”
Racoony led her friends down the tree to safty.
The birds came back to find and empty nest. “oh no daddy bird where did spidy the spider go? “He must have gotten help from that pesky Racoon”
Chapter 2
Far Far away in a flower patch Snowball the bunny and Chandler the ally cat were playing a game, Snowball told ally cat “wouldn’t it be so nice if we had more friends to play with?” Ally cat said “yes, but we live so far away who would ever want to live with us?” Snowball and Ally continued playing enjoying their time as friends. When all of a sudden they saw something walking, hopping and jumping.
Ally asked snowball “what could it be?” Snow ball said, “I’m not sure lets go check it out maybe they will be our friends and play with us, let’s go ask them.”
So ally and snowball walked toward the movement in the flowers. They met up with Spidey the spider, Racoony the Racoon and Froggy the tree frog.
Snowball asked them “Would you like to play a game with us?”
Spidey the spider, Racoony the Racoon and Froggy the tree frog. Said “we would love to play a game,”
It was getting late Racoon & Froggy had to get home. Ally cat and Snowball said goodbye.
Spidey the spider was so sad. He was so far from his home he didn’t know how to get back so he asked Snowball if he could live in the flowers with Alley and Her.
Snowball said, “of course you can.”
Yipeee, I have a new home away from those pesky birds.
The next morning Spidey the spider, Racoony the Racoon and Froggy the tree frog Snowball the bunny and Chandler the Alley Cat spent the whole day playing and becoming the best of friends.
As for Mommy & Daddy bird they kept hunting for food. Causing problems for other spiders, worms and insects.

Monster Mud (Goo)

Well it's summer time and with summer comes fun activities. I was inspired by my friend to make a schedule for the summer. I really liked the idea so I made one for the kids. The schedule includes a morning clean up, school for an hour, a craft, lunch, swimming, a cooking activity, and free time. The kids and I love it. The schedule takes away the guessing game for the day. We have no fighting over who gets to do what. You just look at the schedule and find out who gets to choose the Activity for the morning, and who gets to choose the activity for the afternoon. The kids made homemade Apple Muffins the other day. They even shredded the Apples. Cool hu? They wanted to call themselves "First kids in the Kitchen" Sadly I had to tell them they are not the first kids to make muffins in the kitchen. I just helped the kids, they did most of the work. They even took a knife to level out the flour and sugar, broke their own egg. They were so proud of themselves. So cute. The muffins tuned out super yummy too!!!
The boy in the first picture is Ben. I know a lot of you have heard me talk about this wonderful little boy. We watched him during the school year before and after school. I have him on and off this summer. Here are some pictures of the MONSTER MUD Look at the smiles on their faces. They are so happy!!! Kayden said "This is the best day ever" Brooklyn said "This is awesome" Ben said "This is so cool" Chandler said "yeah" The monster mud made such a huge mess but the kids loved it. It made such a huge mess. The cool thing is the monster mud was only cornstarch and water. So you only needed water and a wash cloth to clean it up. The stinky thing is the kids played for 50 minutes and the whole time they played I cleaned up. It was on the chairs, floor, the walls, and all over the table. But that is what hands on is right?? Oh boy. Next time I think we will do monster mud outside.

Chandler's Sponge Bob Party

Chandler had a wonderful Sponge Bob Party. We made sponge bob invitations, Leis, turned our house into a sea. It was awesome!!! it looked so cool. Chandler kept saying all day it's my Sponge bob party it's my sponge bob party. He was so happy!!! Happy 3 B day Chandler!!!

We are playing Fish, Fish, Shark, then Sponge Bob Says. Jeremy was a great Sponge Bob. We did a Scavenger Hunt through out the party. We had a blast figuring out what sponge bob wanted us to do next. We put pants on sponge bob, came across a Jelly Fish school watch out don't let their tentacles get you.

We had a evening of fun with Sponge Bob. We started the party with an under the water party. We had blue streamers all over our house. We had a Crabby Patty dinner with squid ward fingers, Snail mix pineapple, Gold fish crackers and sea blue Jello with Sweetish fish. YUMMY!


My very Cool Sponge Bob Cake!!!

Kayden, Chandler and Brooklyn My kiddos are so cool holding the Sponge Bob cake. He is defiantly a part of our family. We love Sponge Bob.
Chandler is Three. He is such a big boy!. Chandler Happy Birthday sweetie. We are so blessed to have you as our little boy. Your personality is just a joy to have. You have a desire to learn and explore I love seeing the world through your eyes. You love Cars and Trains. You can hear a Train coming from miles. We sure love you Chandler our miracle!

Pre K walk

April was the Month of the "Military Child" to celebrate this Brooklyn's class went on a huge walk. They called it a parade but it was a huge walk. It was so fun. WE stopped traffic for miles. I am sure the cars were so excited to see the whole school crossing the road. Giggles. Chandler felt so big. He loves it when we go to Brooklyn or Kayden's school. Brooklyn loved showing him off too. It is always fun to get together with Brooklyn's class. The kids were suppose to dress up like Army guys. So Brooklyn put on her brown shirt and her army pants. She also got to wear her Dad's Army hat. She felt so spacial. I think both of my kids are super cute in that hat.

Look how cute my little boy is. He feels so big to be sitting with Brooklyn's Pre K class. Pretty soon he will be in his own school. We found the perfect pre-school for chandler. It's awesome we are so happy. He will go to school tue, thru and friday 9am-1pm. Then I will juggle my time between three kids and three school events. Oh how fun. I can't wait for all the fun.

Here we all are. once again chandler is not looking at the camera surprise surprise. "Little Toad" I love being a chaperon in my kids field trips. I love my job as a Mom.. Best job in the whole world.

Military Child

Here the kids are on the way back from our big parade. We are stopping by to get stickers from the MP (Military Police) and fire men. The kids are so excited. Don't forget the Big Red Fire Truck. One of chandlers highlights. He loves the Big Red Fire Truck. After our parade before we head back we all stopped for a drink and a treat. Chanlder loved it he felt like such a big boy. Brooklyn was such a cute big sister too.

PLay Robinson Crusoe

I was so excited the Missoula Children's Theater came to Ft. Gordon this last week. This is a company that travels through all 50 states and even some over seas and puts on a play in one week. They held auditions Monday night April 14th 4:45-6:45 and they performed the play Sat @3pm. Every night from 4:45-9:00pm they held practices for the various parts in the play Robinson Crousoe. Both Kayden and Brooklyn made it in the play. They were so excited as was I. I was in the Missoula Children's Theater growing up I remember being in " The Wizard of Oz" When I talked to my mother she reminded me we were also in "Johnny Appleseed" and Pinocchio. I was the head monkey in the Wizard of Oz, I threw the confetti on the Wicked witch. I was so excited for my part and was going around the neighborhood selling tickets for the big show, when I saw a dog I went to pet the dog and he bit my noise. Yeah I had to go to the ER for stitches and I had a big bandage on my noise. Nothing stopped me from performing. My mom told me the Missoula People decorated my bandage. So this last week really has been a trip down memory lane. I have loved every minute of play practice. I have really enjoyed the extra time with my two older kids. Chandler had a hard week because he didn't see mommy in the evenings. I can't wait until all three of my kids can be in the play.
After the play on Sat we took the kids to Logan's and then we all went and played Laser Tag. We had a wonderful time bonding together as a family and watching our stars. I have pics of both my stars just scroll down and you can see them. enjoy! We love and miss you all

Tribe Leader

Kayden you are so cute in your costume. He was in the Tribe. Kayden had three solos. The tribe sang three songs in the play. "Boom Bada Boom" , "Boom Bada Boo Hoo",and "Eat your friends" I'm not sure if those are the titles or not but that is how we remembered them.

After the first song Kayden was the last one on stage and said Boom Bada Boom,





The second time he said Boom Bada Boo Hoo as he cried on stage.

The third time he said "Does anyone have any lotion? My skin is so sensitive"
It was so cute. They did a wonderful job. The tribe was so loud. Kayden had a really loud voice and started his own version of the song with a couple other singers. It was funny. They did a wonderful job.

Our little Chameleon

Here is our little Chameleon Brooklyn. She was the cuties Chameleon ever!!! Her little group sang two songs. "We are chameleons" and "Hula Bula". They also changed colors, Hello they are Chameleon's Brooklyn was so lucky she was her very favorite color Orange. She was so happy. I was able to get this shot of her right before dress rehearsal. She is way to cute.

Jer's 32 Birthday

Happy Birthday Jeremy! WE had a wonderful day celebrating Jeremy's Birthday. WE started by getting Jer's favorite Doughnuts and a balloon and taking them to work. WE sand to him at work. The kids really enjoyed that. Followed by many Happy Birthday songs and text msg. I spent 4 hours making his birthday cake. It's all chocolate. It's made with 21 semi sweet chocolate bars. Crazy hu? It turned out so nice and Jeremy loved it. You can't really see if very well. When Jer got home from work he had to finish a class than we ate dinner opened presents and has our cake. Jeremy got new sun glasses a golfing hat, a new outfit complete with a surfing shirt and jean shorts. He also got a really cool leatherman. They are so neat now the one I got for Jer has all kinds of screwdriver heads in the leather man. He just has to switch them. He loved it.
I'm gong to let Jer write a little and than post this. WE love an miss you all.

I guess it is my turn. Today has been a day full of surprises for me. I was surprised at work with some donuts and chocolate milk for breakfast with a balloon. Then with the cake I have been wanting to try for a while. The presents were all a great surprise. Tina, did a great job this year. It was awesome! Thank you to everybody who texted me a Happy Birthday. Love you all.
