Brooklyn's 5th grade program/ Brooklyn's Volcano

Brooklyn had a patriotic program for all the 5th graders.
It was their end of year and last program in Elementary School.

Grandma, Kamri, and Uncle Jason came.  Mom was there too!

Can you find Miss B?

We are #1

Brooklyn was "Lady Justice" in the program.

Uncle Jason holding Brooklyn's Program.

Cute "Lady Liberty" aka Brooklyn Bastian.

I have the coolest Uncle.
Thanks Uncle Jason and Kamri from coming.

Brooklyn with her 5th grade teacher Mrs. Neahman.
at Maeser Elementary School.

Brooklyn, had to do a report and model of a volcano.
I was able to go and watch her present her volcano and give her oral report.

Brooklyn, worked so hard on her report and her volcano model. She wanted to make sure the lava was red so she put red food coloring in the vinegar. Very fun.

Here is Brooklyn's volcano.  Mount St.Helens.

As we tried to have this volcano erupt at home we found a couple tricks.  First is to put baking soda in  some toliet paper and roll it up so it's like a little tube. Close the ends off  with rubber bands.   Also if right before you put the vinegar in add pop rocks it will make lots of noise when the vinegar goes in.  The vinegar will absorb in the toliet paper and start to erupt.  It was a lot of fun learning more about volcanoes and watching Brooklyn give her report and completing her model with the finale being the eruption.  We learned a lot and more importantly had a blast doing it.

Kayden's 8th grade end of year Band Concert

Kayden's end of Year concert.  It was amazing!!!!
I have never been to a concert with a movie and special effects.
They had confetti and all kinds of sounds and it was just fun.

It's so awesome to have cool Uncles that want to take their nephews out camping when their dad is in Korea.

Uncle Jason is all packed and ready to go.

Our Baby Boy is "9".  I love Chandler's  Charismatic  Personality.  He is always willing to share a joke or a story. Chandler is so animated he just makes me smile.  Chandler still loves to read and is reading Charlie Bone right now.  Chandler loves to ride his bike and play MineCraft. Chandler loves to be called Peanut and after I packed his lunch the name I had to put on the bag was ChanMan.  We are so happy and  blessed to have this sweet little boy in our family.

Decorating eggs with Family

How cool is that? I have never seen or dyed plastic eggs, we thought it  would be fun to see how well they worked.

Our table is ready.... Time to decorate eggs.

The kiddos in their Sunday Best.  UMMM maybe we should have had them change?!?

Cute little Kamri with her Plastic eggs to dye.  This is awesome!!!  she can drop them all she wants and they will not break. SWEET!

I heart this cute KAMRI.  This is her way of saying cheese.  She just leans forward and looks at you.  So fun!

We tried another new dying kit.  It was little painting roller brushes and it was super fun to decorate with.  I think this is a new favorite.

Here is my first plastic decorated egg. Very fun! they are a huge hit.
However, they do not float in the dye.  You have to hand paint them and they turn out awesome.

Chandler got dye EVERYWHERE.  Good thing Grandma was there because she washed his shirt and got all the dye off it. Yeah, Thank you GRANDMA!

Grandma and Grandpa with Kamri watching something on Grandpa's iPad.

Uncle Jason having fun decorating his egg.

Look at all those cool eggs.

Uncle Jason was excited to join the competition of decorating eggs.

Uncle Jason totally won.  He made a super cute Minion.

Brooklyn's cute Harry Potter

Kayden's  I can't remember who he did?  I will have to ask him.

Chandler's super cool egg that has 4 different colors.
What a fun time of decorating eggs with the family!
