2013 Army Signal Corps Regimental Ball

This years Signal Ball was at the Grand Hyatt in Seoul Korea. Jeremy and I pawned the kids off to different friends and stayed over night . What a fun evening with the love of my life.

I love this Ice Sculpture.  So cool!

This was a pretty awesome Ice sculpture as well.

Our Entertainment was really cool.  I've never been to a Signal ball with  Entertainment like this.  Usually they will have a band.  But this year we got some pretty awesome Entertainment.  These drums were amazing.  So much fun to have all the Korean Culture.

I had to take a close up of this Orchid.  It reminds me of my Grandma Carman.  She loved Orchids and this one was just beautiful.

The food at the Hyatt was so delicious.  This was the Tuna Nicoise Salad.  No I did not eat the Tuna.  But everything else was yummy!  Jer like the Tuna :-)

 Shitake Mushroom Soup Yummy!!!

Oven baked Tenderloin of Beff, Semi dried tomatos and parmesan crust, thyme sauteed Green beans, mashed potatoes. 

Golden fried chicken and mozzarella cordon blue with lemon, mashed potatoes and water cress.

For dessert Pineapple almond tart, chocolate sauce, creme caramel Ice cream.

At the end of the evening.  I took a picture but I'm not sure what happened?  I won an Ipad mini., Right?   I can't believe it.  I've never been to a signal ball that had door prizes and to win an Ipad mini was pretty cool.  Jer and I really had a wonderful weekend.  It was fun getting all dressed up and enjoying an evening  with my Soldier. 

Admiral Yi's

My Korean Students told me of a wonderful place in Asan, It's a Memorial for Admiral Yi.  Admiral Yi is a war Hero.  He helped stop the Japanese from invading South Korea.

This is the first building into the Shrine.

Aaron taught the boys a new way to do pushups.  Down 1/4 Down half way down 3/4 down all the way.  Up 1/4 up half way up 3/4 up all the way.  They all did had a great work out.  Look at that line.  Good job!

I'm not sure what this symbolizes.  Another issue with being in a foreign country,  I can't read the language.  But I'm sure it's something really cool.

I think this was Kayden's favorite part.

The kids loved watching the fish.  This pond had a lot of fish.  Some were pretty big.
