Kayden's Look

I have a funny story to tell you, we have a tradition in my family that every night we go around the table and ask what three nice things were about our days. It was Kayden's turn he had finished his three nice things but then he proceeds to tell me something embarrassing that happened at his school. One of Kayden's friends mom came into class she kissed her son Brian in class where everyone saw and Brian was so embarrassed. my son laughed and laughed then told me how glad he was that I didn't do that. HELLO what happened to being able to kiss your son? I mean come on what happened to Mom's kisses fix everything. Kayden was laughing when he told me the story cuz his friend was so embarrassed. Kayden was like he was so embarrassed mom. Oh boy!!!! I guess it's kisses at home and in the car for Kayden How sad is that?... Who ever said they can grow up and not need their mom's kisses? I can't believe how fast they want to grow up. Kayden also asked when he got his own Cell Phone. Hello like an 8 year old needs a Cell phone. Giggles. I was like you have to be a teenager before you get a cell phone. He was like mom that is so unfair. When did you get your first cell phone. I was like UMMM yeah that is a great idea kayden you can have a cell phone the same age I did. I got my first Cell Phone when I was 23... Kayden was like no no no I will take one when i am a teenager. Kayden so wants to drive. Hello he is 8. Aweee why does he want to grow up so fast? I defiantly am not ready for a teenager!!! I just wanted to share this funny story with everyone.

Happy Thanksgiving

When we had dinner the other day I asked the kids what they were thankful for Kayden said Family, Food, Water, a house to live in, friends, and air to breath. Brooklyn said Friends, Family, our home, Animals, and ceaser. Jeremy is thankful for his Family, The Gospel, his beautiful wonderful wife, Friends, and for his Job. some things I (Tina) am thankful for, The wonderful Gospel and the joy it brings into my life, I am thankful for my Eternal Companion and for all the service he gives to me, I love him so very much. My awesome Children kayden, Brooklyn, and Chandler who amaze , and bring joy to my life everyday, and for my friends. I am greatful for the Army and where we are because of the Army.

We had a wonderful Thankgsgiving. We had the opportunity to host two other families and the missionaries. We had a great time cooking, laughing, cleaning and playing games. I made my very first turkey. I must say it turned out okay. I thought it was a little dry. (Everyone said it was yummy) My friend Stacy had the men cook a huge pot of potatoes. They peeled 10lbs of huge potatoes. We could have served an army with those potatoes. It was so funny. We had so much food that everyone was able to take home leftovers. I am so very grateful for wonderful friends that fill the void of our missing families. I just wanted to say how thankful I am for my friends. I am so excited where ever the Army sends us we are able to make such wonderful friends... Friday Morning My friend Stephanie and I got up at 3:30am to start our adventurous Our first stop was Toy R Us we stood outside in the freezing cold for about and hour until they opened. We really made out like bandits. We hit 5 stores before 8:00am We were on fire. We got all our treasures. The only thing we really missed out on were the Character PJ's at Walmart for $5.00. We finished the day with lunch at Panera Bread and went to see the movie "August Rush". We got home about 3:30pm 12 hours later. Talk about shopping until we dropped. We had a wonderful time. We hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving.

Tag

Okay so I have been tagged.
Here are the rules. I'm supposed to post these. The Rules1. The player lists 6 facts/habits/traits about themselves - try to find 6 you haven't already posted about.2. At the end of the post, the player tags 6 people and posts their names, and then goes to their blog and leaves them a comment, letting them know they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog for the rules.
1. I am an Army Wife. I love my soldier. We have been married 9 years. Jeremy has been in the military for 12 years. We have been Active duty the last five years. Jeremy's MOS (Job) is Sat Com Operator. he works with the satellites. I love my soldier. It's so nice that my soldier is fighting for the "Freedom" we all enjoy. I love America. My favorite Holiday is the 4th of July. I really enjoy moving all over the world.
2. I have been involved with the Family Readiness Group for 9 years. I have been the president four times. Right Now I am running publicity for the Fort Gordon Service club. I love giving my service to the Army and helping Military families. I love that we all have one thing in common We are all in the Military. We all have similar trials. I love all the wonderful friends I make at each and every duty station. it's amazing the reason I started a website that turned into a blog was so I could keep in touch with all my friends. These friends become your family. our families all live so far away that your best friends become aunts and uncles. You spend the Holidays together. It's awesome.
3. I am a member of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" I love the Lord with all my heart. I love to serve him in any capacity he needs. I love that no matter where the Army sends us we have an immediate family the church is everywhere. I love that. I have a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon. I know that this book was translated by God and if we read it, it really can help our daily lives. I love that we have a living prophet Pres. Gordon B. Hinkley I am so grateful that he is on the earth today to help guide and direct us. I love the Temple and for the wonderful blessings that come to me. Jeremy &I Were sealed July 16 1998 I am grateful that our beautiful family will be together forever. In this life and the next. I love the Prophet Joseph Smith and for the wonderful example he was. Joseph was so strong, a boy only 14 who wanted to know what church was true, he through the power of Jesus Christ Restored the true Church. He went through so much. and yet he kept strong. he is a great example to me. I love the Lord so much. He has blessed my life countless times.
4. I have three beautiful Miracles. Kayden who just turned 8. Brooklyn who just turned 5, and chandler who is 2 1/2. My children bring joy to my life. I love learning with them. I love seeing them have fun. One of my favorite pass times is watching my kids have fun. I love to see them smile. I love to hear them giggle. I am the biggest Mother Hen ever. Watch out!!!
5. Birthdays are a big deal at my house. I mean we put on a huge production. I sing Happy Birthday at least 30 times. You would think after the 17 time your kids would get sick of hearing that dang song. Nope! Kayden on song #17 just hugged me and said you are the best mom ever. Awee talk about melting my heart. I once had a friend say heaven forbid your kids do something bad on their b-day cuz my kids don't have to share or clean nothing on their Happy Day. My friend said I can see you in court and you telling the judge please can we come back tomorrow when it's not their happy day. Giggles. I want to make sure my kids feel like they are king of the world. Or Queen Miss Brooklyn.
6. The final thing about me is I love to scrapbook. I love to take pictures of my kids. I have a camera where ever I go. You can tell my kids are all such hams from the time they are old enough to smile they pose for the camera. I love that. I really enjoy playing games. Board, cards, x-box, DVD ,Any kind of games. I love family time. I enjoy going on walks and bike rides with my family.
I hope you all learned something new about me.

Kayden's B-day Party

We had a great time at Kayden's 8th B-day Party. Kayden wanted to go to the movies and see

"The Bee Movie" It was really cute we all enjoyed the movie. I didn't get a very good pic of us at the movies. Oh well poor Brooklyn is cut off. It was really dark. But we got a really good family pic. After the movie we went to Kayden's favorite restaurant "Red Lobster" they were having there shrimp fest. For those of you who know me you know I don't eat anything out of the ocean. You will all be pleased I ate a shrimp. Oh boy!!! Brooklyn ate one also she was like yumm it tastes like chicken. Ummm no it did not. Giggles. It was okay. I would never order it for a meal. Well anyways the boys ordered the shrimp they got shrimp Alfredo shrimp scampi Buffalo shrimp I can't remember the rest. Brooklyn got Mac and cheese. Chandler had a little bit of everything. I got one of the three chicken dishes on the menu. Giggles. We had a wonderful time. I have some cute pics of the kids waiting to be seated. they were being so silly. I love it. After we finished our meal they brought Kayden this huge cake and ice cream.
