Kayden's 18th Birthday

We are celebrating Kayden’s 18th Birthday a few days late because of our cruise. I have to admit both Jeremy and I shed a few tears as we reminisced all 18 years of Kayden’s Life going through all the pictures,stories, and memories. This is by far the hardest Birthday Door we have created. I came up with the coolest birthday theme to celebrate KAYDEN! The Game of life. Kayden has been one of my biggest blessings and my dream come true. I have loved him from the first day I saw his heart beating and Now look at him 18 a Man. He is all grown up and ready to conquer the world and accomplish all his dreams. Kayden I hope you have the best birthday. Know that I love you very much and I am always here for you. You are never too old for your mother. 

Go have a beautiful life Kayden. We have raised you and now it’s time for you to write your own book to open your wings and fly.

Kayden, really hates beans.  So Jeremy found this massive
can of Kidney beans and wrapped it up for Kayden.
It was hilarious. 

Day 7 Mediterranean cruise Dubrovnik, Croatia

Our last and final day was Dubrovnik, Croatia.  Yeah! another country off our list. 

Dubrovnik is a port on the Dalmatian coast.  It has very close historical ties with Venice, and to this day the old town has many sights that recall the time when it was under Venetian rule.  The city has a majestic Cathedral, as well as a church dedicated to St. Blaise, the Rector's Palace and Orlando's Column.  Our excursion here was Dubrovnik and it's Cable Car.

It only took one week to eat breakfast together.  Ha!  It helps when you are getting off the ship first thing in the morning.

Our group is waiting to get on the cable car.  The rest of the bus (our tour) went on the Cable Car before us.  So our little group got to go on our own Cable Car Ride.  Sweet!

Dubrovnik is known as the City of Steps.
Dubrovnik has 4.340 steps.  1,080 just with the city wall.  That is crazy.
We had to go down all of these steps to get to the Old City.

I am not a Star wars fan but apparently the 8th Star wars movie "The Last Jedi" was
filmed in this spot.  That's pretty cool.
Also, The Game of Thrones was filmed here as well.  I haven't seen it either. Ha!
But there were lots of people that were excited for this stop.  Sheri, could't wait to get a Game of Throne T-shit.

So we heard of a great place to get ice cream, so we had to check it out.
It wasn't as good as Bari but it hit the spot.
