We had a little FHE party for Rebecca for her Birthday. We had a wonderful lasagna Dinner. Jer made his famous lasagna. Stephanie made all the side. We had a fun little party. We played Christmas Bing, Balloon wars, and had Cake and Ice Cream. We also attempted to make gingerbread houses. I said Attempted. I failed miserably. Story to come at end of post.
Here we are all ready for our balloon war. Who is going to win???

Playing Christmas bingo, The winner gets a yummy candy bar.

I know you are all jealous of this picture. I can't believe Jer took it. Oh my gosh this just sums up the whole Gingerbread house night. We planned on making 2 Gingerbread houses and one Christmas tree. Kayden, put the Christmas tree together. He did a fantastic job. I was so proud of him. He just put the icing on and made the cutest tree. I forgot to take a picture of the finished project. We sent it home with the Birthday Girl.
Okay so Stephanie made the icing and lets just say it was super runny,(She followed the directions.)but it made the icing sooo runny. The icing ran down Stephanie's shirt all over her hands. We were laughing so hard. The silly walls and roof wouldn't stay on. It was crazy. I wanted to throw in the towel. The kids were being so patient waiting for their Gingerbread house. Rebecca started reading them a story to keep them busy while we tired to get the house to stick. Yeah no such luck, I was so frustrated!!! GRRRRR

oh this is so funny!!! The icing is going everywhere. But man we are having a blast.

Maybe this way will work, then again maybe not!!!
Okay we called in our Birthday girl for some help. Yeah still no luck. GRRR These darn Gingerbread houses. They have never been this difficult. We put one together every year. What is the problem????
So tonight Stephanie brings me a little treat. My very own Gingerbread House.check out Stephanie's master piece. She stayed up until 2am finishing This Gingerbread House. It's amazing, look at all the detail, can you see the gummy tree? She worked so hard on this Gingerbread house. She would/could win any competition out there. Can you believe she gave it to me? I was so finished with the gingerbread houses. They were not working, it was almost 9pm. My kids should have been in be an hour ago. I was so frazzled and ready to go home. I just left all the candy and all the supplies and houses at her house. I was like have fun.
She built it, decorated it, and gave it to me.
Wow Stephanie you are amazing.!!! I would have been like you snooze you loose.
I love my Gingerbread house. Thanks so much...
This is the back end wow does it ever end. It's so beautiful.
The side. Look at all the detail.
Jeremy and I got home late on Monday night from Florida so we wanted to surprise our kids with something fun. I picked the kids up early from school. I know I know I missed them sooo much. I took them out of school at noon. We did lots of hugs and kisses. Then we picked Chandler up from School. More hugs and kisses. We picked Daddy up early, went to dinner and then our big adventure. We went to Lights of the South for the second year, wow they have added a lot of new things and changed a couple old things. We had so much fun on the hay ride. The kids loved talking to Santa and telling him we wanted a Wii for Christmas. Please Santa We have been good. I love my family so much. It was so nice to be a family again. I loved being with my husband for the weekend. But I loved hanging out as a family. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Our Children are what's missing. Jeremy and I moved Sister Carol Brown down to Florida. We had the best time. We took a four day weekend. We left on Friday and came home late Monday. One of our dear friends Ashely and her family took our kids for the whole weekend. (Thanks again Ashley)
We had the opportunity to go to Universal Studios & Adventure Island. Oh my gosh we had so much fun. I know my kids are sooo jealous. We got to meet Sponge Bob, Cat in the Hat, Shrek, Spider Man, and various other characters. We had the best time, it felt like a second honey moon. It was also nice to spend some time with Sister Brown. We love her so much and she is going to be missed.
Carol Brown & Tina

Jer Sponge Bob Square Pants and Tina. (Just for my kids)

We rode a
Dinosaur ride I can't remember the name. We were sitting in the front seat and let's just say the water went over our heads. We were so wet. The only dry place on me is my bum. Jeremy was wearing his jacket so when he took that off he was dry. His Jacket is dripping wet. What a fun ride!

Tina The
Cat in the Hat and
JeremyGrinchmas started today with live showings of
How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Jeremy and I even got to meet The Grinch.
(Our pictures didn't turn out, and I didn't want to pay the $20 some odd Dollars for their picture.)

We came on opening day for the Macy's Holiday Parade.
It was so amazing to see all the balloons.
We got to attend a live one hour concert of
Mannheim
Steamroller by Chip Davis.
Hear is the Mannheim
steamroller in action. So cool

Branch by branch we put our tree up. Don't forget your "Santa Hat"
We have a tradition i our family that Jeremy and I started 10 years ago. You are not
aloud to set up anything related to Christmas unless you have a Santa hat. We love this tradition. Even the Dogs have their own Santa hats. Jer and the kids fluffing the tree branches

Mom Helping Chandler and Brooklyn flare out our branches.

Chandler's Got the hang of it now. He is so cute!!!!

Look even Mom is helping,

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your Family and Friends.
We had one of the best Thanksgivings. We had four families over for dinner, than we went to The Hardman's for pie. We had a wonderful time hanging with our friends(aka Army Family). We had so much food it was crazy. We all did appetizers and snacked on them until we ate Thanksgiving Dinner @ 3pm. The kids had so much fun making their turkey hats. Poor Kayden was soooo sick he was throwing up all night and all day poor guy. I took a couple pictures of him sleeping and being miserable. He humored me and let Dad make a turkey hat for him, he was even a good sport and took a picture with his turkey hat. (Thanks for being a good sport Kayden) This is one of the down sides of having a fun mom right??? LOL
The theme this year was leaves. I made leaf garland Jeremy traced 160 leafs and I cut them all out and attached them to yarn. They turned out so cute. My mom sent me a cute Turkey for the center piece and I made brown paper bags and folded them and put raffia on the top and a cute leaf then I filled them with chocolates. I got cute turkey center pieces for the kids's table. We had a beautiful dinner, so much food and we all sat down and enjoyed the beautiful meal. We were able to visit and enjoy each others company. We packed up and went to the Hardmans for pie. We had so many pies and met up with 5 more families. It was awesome. We got home at about 8:20pm we cleaned up and went to bed.
I got up at 2:30am to go shopping with Erik,Stephanie, and Brandi. We hit all the hot stores and got some really cool deals. I love Black Friday. The hottest item were the Leapsters for $30.00. Yeah, I got a bruise and a couple head bops. Wal-mart only had 12 pink and 9 green, well I needed 3 pink and 2 green. I was in line with about 5 people who wanted them. So I thought I would dive down and get the leapsters on the bottom. Well one lady jumped the gun a little early like 4:59am well everyone dove in the Wal-mart people were telling us it's to early put them back. But then they let us go. It was crazy!!! But I got all my Leapsters. What people will do to get their presents. Giggles!!!! I love it I know some of you are like that is exactly why we do not go out. But I love it, I love the people, I love the deals, I love hanging with my friends. We hooked up with Ashely, Sylwia, and Denise for lunch at Shangri-La (it's a Chinese buffet) and then we went to see "Four Christmas" So much fun.
We love and miss you all. Happy Thanksgiving

My Aunt Rocky sent me this e-mail of the USS New York. I was so touched by the story I wanted to add it to my blog. I love this Country so much,I am so blessed to be able to support my Solider. I think it's amazing we can build a ship from the scrap metal from the attack on America at the World Trade Center. We can now continue to fight for our freedom, and at the same time honor the fallen people of Sept 11, 2001May we Never Forget!!

USS New York
It was built with 24 tons of scrap steel
from the World Trade Center .
It is the fifth in a new class of warship -
designed for missions that include
special operations against terrorists.
It will carry a crew of 360 sailors
and 700 combat-ready Marines to
be delivered ashore by
helicopters and assault craft.
Steel from the World Trade Center was melted
down in a foundry in Amite , LA to
cast the ship's bow section. When
it was poured into the molds on
Sept 9, 2003, 'those big rough
steelworkers treated it with
total reverence,' recalled
Navy Capt. Kevin Wensing,
who was there. 'It was a spiritual
moment for everybody there.'
Junior Chavers, foundry operations manager,
said that when the trade center steel
first arrived, he touched it with his
hand and the 'hair on my neck
stood up.' 'It had a big meaning
to it for all of us,' he said.
'They knocked us down.
They can't keep us down.
We're going to be back.'
The ship's motto? 'Never Forget'

We had so much fun at the Midnight showing of Twilight. I picked up 7 other ladies, we met 8 more at the theater. All 12 of us got a tickets three weeks ago. We were set for this night. We left at 10pm got to the theater at 10:20pm got our tickets. Twilight was playing in four theaters. Three of the four theaters were sold out.(people were waiting to watch Twilight since 4:30, I thought we were doing good coming almost two hours early.) We got tickets to theater #1, well when we walked into the theater is was full. I'm not sure we could have found 8 seats together. So I found out where the other theaters were, I found out they had one in theater 6 they hadn't even started seating yet. I collected everyone ticket and headed to costumer service. We wanted/needed a new theater. So Ashley and I got all the tickets changed to theater six, while the rest of the group waited in line. They had security aka Police trying to keep all these crazy fans quiet. It was so funny. I was surprised how many young teenage kids were coming to a midnight showing. Remeber everyone had to get up and go to school. We got into the theater and got the best seats in the house.
I give the movie a 7/10. There were things I didn't like. I'm not going into detail just in case you haven't seen the movie yet. When you have and want to talk let me know. I loved the Base Ball, and the fight, So cool!!! I also loved the running.
But what really cracked me up was all the teenage girls oohh and awee over the characters or when Edward and Bella were going to kiss. Too funny!!! Classic!!!! Seriously we laughed more at these teenagers. WE had a wonderful night. We got home about 3am. I am now living on four hours of sleep. Good times.
Thanks for the girls night out ladies...
