Wilhelma Zoo and Botanical Garden Stuttgart

Today our adventure was the Wilhema Zoo. It is also a famous Botanical Garden.
When we entered into the zoo we went into this room first.  It was filled with flowers.  It smelled so pretty.
It was just beautiful inside. 

We loved the seals.  They were super active and very vocal.  They were super entertaining.
We must have watched them for 30 minutes. 

We spent a lot of time with this cutie.  He gave us quite the show.
My favorite part was when he got on a log and started showing us his teeth and intimidating us. He then almost fell off the log. We were laughing so hard.  He was so ADORABLE!

See how little he is.  It's nice to have a mother help you get around and protect you.

We loved watching this baby Gorilla.  He was so funny, he was suppose to stay by his mother but he kept running away from his mom and his brother had to keep bringing him back.  We ran away 3-4 times.  It was hilarious.  It's good to be adventurous, right? Ha!

These meerkats had 5 babies.  It's so funny how they all lay on and under each other.
It was one big pile of meerkats. How many do you see?

Another breathtaking area was the Lily pond.  

The flowers were in full bloom and just majestic.

Look at this exquisite flower. I don't know what kind it is but it's beautiful and so delicate. 

Here we are inside the rainforest. Love, love exploring with these kids of mine.

Jeremy got some awesome pictures of the Fruit bats.  They still kind of freak me out.

Look at this lovely flower.  It is so unique and just beautiful.

These Chicks just hatched.  You can still see some blood and goop on them.
They had one more egg that you could see the chick was trying to break through.  We were rooting for it we watched it for a while and he wasn't moving very much.  I was so hoping we would see all three hatch but alas we only saw two.

This zoo worker was feeding the monkeys mealworms.
This little baby were so nervous.  They didn't want to come and get the worm from the worker. 

This baby finally was brave enough to come and get a worm.

The zoo was filled with beautiful parks all over.

We had so much fun at the zoo with all the babies and animals,
We just couldn't get enough of the beauty that surrounded us.
