We visited a little German Town about 20 miles from Wenatchee called Leavenworth.
This little town has so much character. It's so beautiful and has a bunch of little stores. The kids got pictures with all the Christmas Characters. We did a little last minute shopping. Ate some super yummy salt water taffy tried some Roasted Chestnuts. Ya, not so yummy! The kids were able to slide down the many hills in Leavenworth. They are loving the snow. Me not so much!! It is beautiful though. We bought the kids each a lantern to be in the "Light Parade". The town gathered together and sang some carols. So cool. We all sang Silent Night as two stars met and came to the center of town. We then had some awesome horns play and some guns fired. WE all counted to three and all the lights turned on. Oh it was so magical and the Spirit of Christmas truly was in the air. The Light Parade started when the Three Wise Men came. We all followed the star and the Wise men to the Live Nativity. Brooklyn loved all the animals. It was fun to play and pet the animals when it was all over. We loved our day at Leavenworth. As we walked into downtown Leavenworth.

That is probably one of the most perfect places to visit right before Christmas! Wow, it is so beautiful there!
If you would just get over it and agree to move to Europe, every day would be that magical. Just sayin'...
:)
Looks cold...and fun! All the costumes and lights are beautiful! Is that the place you were talking about on the phone?
Wow, that is way cool! Sounds like a way awesome place to visit. Love all the photos.
wow, that looks so fun. maybe your next station should be in germany! you could hang with me there.
i like all your bulky coats too. i never saw you guys dressed that thickly!
Will wanted me to also point out that in Europe there are 100 different varieties of magical.
Germany/Austria/Switzerland would give you the type of magical you just experienced, while Italy, France, Spain and England each have their own unique forms of magical.
That looks like so much fun!! Cold but fun!! That is the coolest looking Santa I have ever seen.
