Brooklyn's Sweet 16

Today is my sweet Brooklyn’s 16th Birthday!!!! I am not home to celebrate with her as I’m still in Arkansas with My niece and nephew. ðŸ˜
I have never been more in love with my husband. He stayed up for hours decorating and took all my crazy ideas which included drilling holes in Gumballs and stringing them around her door. Making her birthday banner with a sweet 16 sign instead of the flower. Jeremy you truly are my hero. I love you, thank you for making our daughter feel special and keeping my crazy traditions alive.
Here are the pictures he sent me. Well done my love well done!
Now since it’s Brooklyn Sweet 16 I think it will be appropriate to give you a list
16 things about Brooklyn or things I love about my Baby Girl (in no particular order.)
1. Brooklyn has the most disorganized room in the entire house. I guess when you live in a clean house you have to have a space that isn’t clean? ðŸĪ·‍♀️
2. Brooklyn will drop everything she is doing to lend a helping hand. ðŸ’
3. Brooklyn is an amazing older sister. I stand in awe as I watch her comfort chandler from his rough day, watching her make him laugh and just being there for him. Makes my heart melt.
4.Brooklyn is a wonderful friend. She cares and loves her friends all over the world. And I am blessed to count her as one of my best friends.
5. Brooklyn, will NOT pee unless she has a strong sturdy toilet. No, squatting for her! She would rather be miserable then go in nature.  ðŸ˜–
6. Brooklyn is hilarious! And if you don’t think her joke or story is hilarious you laugh at her facial expressions and how she is telling said joke or story.ðŸĪŠ
7.Brooklyn doesn’t have a favorite color she loves ALL colors.
8. Brooklyn has an eye for taking beautiful pictures. I have blogged many of her beautiful pictures. ❤️
9. Brooklyn has an amazing talent for art. I have framed several pieces. She was even offered money for one of her art pieces.
10.Brooklyn has a love for ALL animals. And will probably never forgive me for not getting her a DOG.
11.Brooklyn has wanted to be a veterinarian her entire life. See #10
12.Brooklyn is the least picky eater in the entire family.
13. Brooklyn is the worst to go shopping with. The girl is sooo picky and particular it’s painful!
14. Brooklyn, is very smart and I never have to fight with her over school work. A blessing I count every day!
15. Brooklyn has the kindest heart. She speaks kind, loving, and encouraging words.
16. Brooklyn, doesn’t like spiders and may have flung one on a baby to get it away from her. Ha!

General Conference Sunday October

We had just sat down to eat cinnamon rolls and a bacon veggie omelet when the heavens opened up and it started raining. Like serious downpour William suggested we go outside and watch it. Jessenia walked out with an umbrella. I asked William if he want to run to the mailbox and back? He of course wanted too. All three of us spent the next 30 min playing in the rain. We may have even had a water fight and may have gotten a little wet. ðŸ˜‚

She left the umbrella behind

I think will is going to win.

Jessenia and Tina Oct 2018 I wanted a cute picture with Jessie I suggest sitting right in the water. She wanted to know if I was serious?!? ðŸ˜ģYes, ma’am I am serious.
Do you see how much rain we got crazy it came down so hard and so fast.

Because I wasn’t wet enough Jessenia grabbed the hose and made
Sure I didn’t have a dry spot on me she sprayed me from head to toe. The rain was colder than the hose. ðŸ˜‚

Look at these two having a rain water fight. ðŸ˜‚

In between the two General conference session William Jessenia and I went to explore the Peel Mansion museum and heritage gardens. We had about 40 min to kill before our tour started so we got to explore the garden and grounds first. We had a lot of fun trying to get the butterflies to land on us or our fingers. I’m sure this place is beautiful in the spring with tall the flowers in full bloom.
At the start of our tour we were told how the mansion came about. Colonel Samuel West Peel wanted to marry this woman names Mary Emeline Berry. She wanted this beautiful big house and Colonel Samuel West Peel said if she would marry him he would build her a mansion and he did. In 1875 he built a beautiful Italianate Villa Style home.
Samuel and Mary has a total of 11 kids. Their twins passed away and they raised 9 kids 6 girls and 3 boys. It was fun listening to the stories of the Peel family. I loved looking at all the old artifacts in the home. It was quite fascinating and super cool.

The third part of my day was the “First Friday” which is a huge block party in downtown Bentonville. They have all kinds of booths, food, games for the kids, live music. William, Jessenia and I had a wonderful time at this event.
