See this is why you blog it when it happnes. Now I will be able to look back and know what went on when I scrapbook this weeknd.
We got to have a super fun weekend with our "Dear Friends Jared & Tammy Jackson" We were so sad when Jared got his orders to Germany. We were moving to Washington and they to Germany. How sad is that? The Jackson's were coming to the states for a visit before Jared deployed to Afghanistan. We wanted to meet up with them so we met in Boise Idaho for a weekend. We Stayed at the Spring Hills Suites May 21-23 2010.

Jared, Tammy, Tina and Jeremy

Tammy, Tina and Brooklyn

Here we are eating Breakfast. YUMMY!!!
We even got a special room just for us. How cool is that? We went to a really cool hands on Science Center.
I'm not sure who had more fun the kids or the adults. We had lunch at the Cheese cake Factory. My favorite. After lunch It started to snow
Hello it's May why on earth is it snowing? We all ran to the car
and decided we couldn't go miniature golfing in the snow.
So the next best thing was a movie. We went to see
Diary of a wimpy kid. So funny!!! The kids loved it.
We decided since we had gone bowling with
Jared a couple of time that it would be fun to go bowling again.
So we found a bowling alley and played a couple games. Jared totally kicked our trash.
Umm he is super good. Over 110 each game. AWESOME.
It was getting to be dinner time but Nobody was hungry. We were all
stuffed from eating at the Cheese cake so we decided we would
stop at the store and grab some snacks for later that night. Since
we would be staying up all night playing games again. (We did this Friday night too)
Jared wasn't feeling very well. So he slept (so he would be ready to play games.)
while the rest of us went to the pool and Jacuzzi.
We put the kids to bed and played games. We had a wonderful evening
just laughing and playing. Lots and lots of memories.
Thanks for making time to hang with us Jared and Tammy!!!!
WE love and miss you both.

Trip to Forks

My Mom took me on a fun over night trip to a "Taste of Home" cooking show. My mom and I use to go to these all the time. But alas the Army has moved me so far away I have missed going for years. My mom did some research and found out a "Taste of Home" cooking show was going on the time she was here for Brooklyn's Baptism. So we decided it was high time for a fun girls night. We drove 5 hours to Aberdeen WA. We had so much fun just talking and laughing. The drive was beautiful so many fun fall colors. We got to Aberdeen picked up our "Free Tickets" to the cooking show. I was able to surprise my mom with Free tickets. We checked into our hotel and hung out and planned our trip to "Forks". We are both Twilight Fans. Mom started reading the books when my sister Britany and I raved about them. We got to the taste of home an hour before the doors opened. We were shocked there was no line. Not one single person. Clearly this is not like other "Taste of Homes" we have been too. They let us in and we waited 2 1/2 hours for the show to start. No problem Mom and I just had a blast talking, laughing and looking at all our goodies from our bags. The show started, I learned a lot of new tricks. So excited about that. We even got a couple recipes I want to try.
Here we are at the Cooking School. Here On our way to Forks we stopped at this Awesome amazing Rain Forest.
I have never been in side a rain forest before.
It was amazing. We drove not 10 minutes
and this is what we saw. AMAZING There were like 30 Elk.
This was the view for our little potty breakDriving a little more, no one was in the Rain Forest
so I would just stop in the middle of the road and
my Mom and I would just get out and take pictures.
AWESOME!!!
Not another 5 minutes and look...
Beautiful trees with moss all over them.
They were fascinating. I loved them.
Green all over it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
After about 40 minutes in the Rain Forest
we decided it was time to finish
our 2 hour drive to Forks.
We made it to the "Twilight" Capitol of the world.
This is the sign right above the information Center.
Inside we got all the Twilight information. Complete with a
map and directions to all the "Twilight" highlights.
My mom also got me a really nice book about "Twilight Tours"
Inside I got to pose with my Twilight Friends.
(Cardboard friends)
They really made the information area alot of fun.
Okay now we are going to start the "Twilight Tour"
First stop, Bella's Truck, with my Mom
Second Stop Bella's house.
Third, Bella's High School. The school had a fire and they
are re-building it. However, they kept the sign for
crazy Twilight fans. (Like Me)
Fourth, The Cullen's home. Fifth, The Clinic where Dr. Cullen works
Sixth, the Police Station.

We drove another 25 minutes To La Push Reservation.
This drive was beautiful. Oh my gosh so awesome.

Look how Beautiful!
We then headed to Port Angeles. We got to see the Book store
and Gottschalks (the dress store.) We wanted to have
lunch whereBella and Edward stopped to eat at La Bella Italian However,
It's only open for dinner. We still had a 5 hour drive ahead of us so we
were not waiting. But it was fun to see.
Our drive home was so adventurous.
We spent the next hour doing our 2 pages of
Twilight trivia the information center gave us.
The fall colors were amazing.
I couldn't stop and take pictures. (It was a busy road)
We crossed a huge bridge. The tom tom had Picture of
a boat. I asked my mom, "what does that mean?" She said, "I don't know."
We kept driving my Mom saw a sign that said Ferry. Mom was like oh that
would be fun. The next turn I told my mom she got her wish
because onto the Ferry we went. I drove onto the Ferry. We parked
and went to the top for our 30 minute ferry drive. How cool is that? AWESOME
The rest of the trip was long. It was a 16 hour day. We were so tired by the
end but it was so worth it. Lots of fun Memories.
Thanks Mom, Love you
