Fun Making Gingerbread Houses

The kids school had a fun activity of making Gingerbread houses.
Here the kids are with their plates of goodies to assemble their creations.
Jeremy is never finished with work.  Here he is talking to a future soldier.

Here is Kaycee with her master piece.
The roof is complete.
Kaycee's Beautiful house.  Great job!
Kaycee, was helping Chandler with his house.  Only Chandler was eating the candy. :-)
Chandler, working hard on his super cute house.

Awee, you guys did an awesome job!

Brooklyn working on getting her side up just right.  It's harder then you may think.
House standing check, now it's time to put on the candy.
Daddy helped Brooklyn. Very Cool and a super cute picture.
The finished House!  AWESOME!!!
Anthony, started to build his house and said, "Nope, I'm going to eat it instead."
Here is Anthony eating his house. (The Candy!)
And his master piece of, "No Candy".  Good Job.  You can see he is very happy!!
Here is Kayden working on his house.
Kayden's house turned into Santa's Sleigh.
Kayden, had me helping him.  Poor boy.  We made an awesome Sleigh.
Santa, will for sure be riding in Style in this candy filled Sleigh.
Isabel making her house.  The frosting was a little tricky

If you look she is painting with fingers.  That's the trick.  Way to go Isabel.
Look how awesome her house is turning out.

Her house stood all by it self and didn't fall.  There is something to be said about painting your house.

All 6 masterpieces.  What a fun Family Night.  Now lets go home and eat them.

Kayden's first Band Concert

I had the opportunity to accompany Kayden on his very first Band Concert.  We rode the Yellow Twinkie (Bus) to the little German Town in Leavenworth WA.  We froze but  had a great time playing and shopping.  What a fun day!
Look at my Handsome Boy!

This is Kayden's second year in Band.  He plays the Trumpet.  It's been an adventure.  I know nothing about playing and instrument..  So it's been fun listening to Kayden learn and grow.  He takes lessons and is doing great.

Little did I know You can't really get a picture of him with all the other kids.  But here he is going up to take his place.

Here is one of Kayden's Best friends, Mitchell. He plays the Saxophone.

Here is Kayden and his friend Lena. Lena plays the Trumpet as well.

Santa's Elves

Out of all the Tradition our family has this one is by far my favorite.  I think it's because out of all the traditions Jeremy and I have this one we started together.  The tradition is, "You can not set up Christmas unless you wear a Santa hat."  It's fun to set up Christmas like Santa's Elves.
Jeremy and the boys.  I sure love them lots.
Brooklyn and I.  Yes, I know she looks just like me.
Mr & Mrs Santa Clause.
Daddy's Little Girl!!!
I love this picture.  Jeremy was trying to be funny.  Kayden was totally laughing.  While Chandler was annoyed.  I love it!!!  Awee the memories.
Oh the joy of an artificial tree flaring out the branches.

Brooklyn was in charge of getting the Ornaments out.
Jeremy putting the top of our tree on.  One of his favorite parts of Christmas.

Kayden was in charge of putting the star on.  Good Job Buddy!

Chandler in charge of hanging the stockings.

This picture has a funny story.  So I was making yummy treats while Jeremy and the kids tried to find the missing lights.  They worked on that silly tree for 45 min.  Finally I came in and said we needed to say a prayer.  Jeremy asked me to say it.  I asked that Heavenly Father to help us find the missing light and/or the electrical problem.  30 seconds after my prayer Jeremy figured out that he hadn't plugged in the lights.  LOL!!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the Bastian Home.
So I love Pintrest.  Someone posted some similar pictures and I just loved them so I decided we needed some super cute light picture with our kiddos. Chandler age, 6
Beautiful Brooklyn age, 9
Kayden, age 12
