Aunt Becky and Uncle Chad found the coolest place for us to go camping. WE stayed in a Yurt. It's like a cabin and a tent put together. It's like a cabin on the inside and the outside is a tent. It was the coolest thing ever. It even has plexy glass ontop so you can watch the stars. It was so awesome. The kids had a blast. We roasted Hot Dogs and made yummy smores WE really had a wonderful time hanging out with the Smiths.

Fishing with Uncle Chad

The kids were in heaven fishing with Uncle Chad. Poor Chad and Becky had to un tangle a few lines and fix a couple fishing poles. Uncle Chad has really nice fishing poles. (not kid savvy) Uncle Chad was very patient making sure my kids had a blast. The first night we went fishing Kayden caught the first fish of the night. Brooklyn was next. They were both super excited. Uncle Chad caught one for Chandler. What an awesome Uncle.

We went out the next morning and the kids got to fish some more.

Chandler and Aleah loved throwing rocks. We made sure they were on the other side of the ones trying to fish. I guess fish do not like rocks. Giggles.

Brooklyn was the only one to catch a fish today. She was so excited. She told me she prayed so she could catch a fish. Her prayer was answered.

Thanks for an awesome time Uncle Chad. Many Many Memories.

Crawdad Fishing with Uncle Chad

This Adventure was one of our favorites. Uncle Chad took us Crawdad fishing twice. The kids loved each and every trip. Okay let me tell you how cool it is to go Crawdad fishing. You go at night with flash lights. You use some kind of meat (we used lunch meat, chicken, and fish.) you put the meat on the shore line and you wait for the crawdads to come get the meat and you use your nets to catch them. Uncle Chad took each kid out on their own to catch their very own crawdad. Super cool hu? Everyone caught at least one crawdad. So cool. after everyone got their crawdad we had a race. You see we do not eat things out of the lake, So we had to release the crawdads. We had a race to see which crawdad made it home first. So much fun.

Aleah, Chandler, Kayden and Brooklyn ready to go crawdad fishing.

4th of July Ely NV Style

WE started our independence day at a Church Breakfast. It was sooooo Cold. I was afraid we would all have to go home and change. BURRRR The Church did a wonderful program with songs and a couple stories. WE went inside the Church to watch a slide show. I wish I had the slide show it was so amazing. They had all kinds of pictures about our faith and our freedom all to the background of patriotic music. I was really touched by this slide show. After that we went back outside. It was starting to warm up and had a huge breakfast with pancakes made to order with chocolate chips or fruit whatever you wanted. Cinnamon rolls, fruit, meat, bagels, the list goes on and on. Aunt Becky and Uncle Chad bought us tickets to ride the Nevada Northern Train. It was so neat. Chandler loves trains and this was just the icing. Uncle Chad had taken the kids to see the train and all they wanted to do was ride it. What a fun surprise. The train ride was about 2 hours. The train was even stopped by robbers. So much fun.

Thanks Uncle Chad and Aunt Becky. What a fun special treat and memories for all of us.

Look a real "coal train"

Kayden, Brooklyn, and Chandler so excited to be on the train.

WE loved being in the open cart. However, we got a lot of soot on us.

We had soot everywhere!! But you can't beat the view or the fun.

Here we all our waiting for our fun adventure.

What a cute picture. I love it. Don't worry they are actors!
