Scripture Study "Priesthood"

What is the power of the Priesthood?
The authority and power that God gives to man to act in all things for the salvation of man.

The Priesthood blesses the lives of all those around us.

Scripture about the priesthood.

Their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood:Ex. 40:15; ( Num. 25:13; )

I have ordained you:John 15:16;

Ye are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood:1 Pet. 2:5;

Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood:1 Pet. 2:9; ( Ex. 19:6; )

Men are called as high priests because of their exceeding faith and good works:Alma 13:1–12;

I give unto you power to baptize:3 Ne. 11:21;

Ye shall have power to give the Holy Ghost:Moro. 2:2;

Chandler Earns his Bear

Tonight at the Blue and Gold Banquet Chandler got his Bear, 1- Gold Arrow and 3- Silver arrows.

As part of the fundraising, the pack does the annual cake auction. Chandler, didn't want to decorate a cake this year. He wanted to make Cake pops. So we made Chocolate Mint Cake pops with Blue and Gold White chocolate. YUMMY!!!!!

Kayden's Solo Ensemble Showcase

Kayden Volunteered to be in this years Solo Ensemble. It started off with just 2 people, Kayden playing the Trombone and Cheyenne playing the flute. But when they told Mrs Wall what they were playing she told them of another little group playing the same song. So a new group was found. Jamie on the piano, Carissa & Cheyenne on the flute Kayden on Trombone and Emily Sang. They learned and played this song in just 10 days.

Anceint Egypt Presentations

Homeschooling has been a lot of fun. For the last month we have had Destiny join us.
We can't forget about cute little Chase. He is almost 5 months now. Wow!!!
We started the night off with an Egyptian Dinner. Egyptians ate unleavened bread, so we did Chicken Ceaser Pita's for dinner, The Egyptians ate a lot of fruit, so we had a yummy Fruit Salad. Egyptians loved to drink Beer and Wine. So we had Grape Juice. After Dinner all our guest came over to watch Destiny and Kayden present their Power Point Presentations. We also had Desert fruit pizza, Brownies, and Carmel Chex Mix.

Destiny giving her presentation on Ancient Egypt. She did a wonderful job. It's interesting how she thought the mummification process was disgusting while Kayden was fascinated by it. Oh the difference between boys and girls.

Kayden, had so much fun giving his presentation. He had a lot of information. He was so animated and just loved every minute of presenting his slides.
What a fun evening with friends and learning all about Ancient Egypt.

Pinewood Derby time!

Chandler's very first Pinewood Derby.
Making a pinewood Derby car in Korea was a challenge. All of our tools were in storage. Jeremy had to run to the store and get a saw so we could cut and shape the car. Chandler did an great job helping Jeremy cut it and sanding, and painting it all by himself. Another challenge was putting the weight on. Jeremy usually melts down lead and pours it into the car. But again we didn't have any tools. So we took quarters and army tape. It totally worked.

The Boy Scouts were asked to help with The Pinewood Derby.

Brooklyn is on the Swim TEAM!

Brooklyn, joined the Swim Team this year. She has had a lot of fun going to practice and swim meets.
It also doesn't hurt that some of her really good friends are on the swim team with her.

Today was such a crazy day. We had Brooklyn's First Swim Meet and Chandler's first Pinewood Derby. It was a crazy fun day. I was able to watch 2/5 heats. Super sad I missed the other two races. But I had to run back to the Pinewood Derby and run the flag ceremony and a skit. What a busy busy day.

I was able to be a timer at Brooklyn's Swim Meet in Youngsan. What a fun place to be. Front row and you get to see everything. You do get wet. It was almost like watching a Sea World Show. I was sitting in the "Splash Zone."
