Last Good Bye's

I just love my Grandma Smith.  She is one of the coolest Grandma's ever!!!  We loved visiting with her and reminiscing. My Grandma is a wonderful example of love, charity, and hope.  She is a rock and loves the Lord so much.  My Grandma truly is one of my greatest Heros.  I love you Grandma.  I will forever cherish this picture.

Bastianclan with Great Grandma Smith. Love this Lady!!!

On our way out of Utah, we stopped by to see Great-Grandma Bastian. It was good to see her and talk a little. I was even able to find the book I loved as a kid. Love you Grandma.

So glad to see Grandma and explore her house with all its fun toys I grew up with.
One of the greatest blessings of being in the Military are all the wonderful friends you meet along the way.  We got to stay two night with Stan, Kathy and the boys. We heart the Williamson's.

Kathy and I went shopping all day and brought back some fun crafts for the kids, here they are making candy necklaces.  What these boys will do for CANDY!!!

Chandler and Joey defending the world.  Thanks boys!!!!  Following in their daddies foot steps.

Kayden and Keegan still really great friends.  Kayden has a gecko on his head.   Maybe a Gecko in our near future??
We got to have one last dinner with Casey and his family.  As Karma would have it the first time family moves close to us we have to move out of the country.  Booo.  It really was fun hanging with theses guys.  Lots of fun memories.

Elizabeth, Adrian, and Merlin.  They will be out of the house or almost of the house by the time we come home.  Merlin puts in for his mission at the end of the school year.  Awesome and Crazy at the same time.

Kayden, and Noah!!!

Chandler and Jonathan.

Casey and I.  We love you guys.  We are going to miss you.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning works a little different for Bastianclan.  We (Jeremy) loves to sleep in.  So we tell the kids we are not going to open Christmas until around 10ish.  So no need to wake up early.  We always have a yummy homemade breakfast.  So this year I made homemade cinnamon rolls of course and a new Spinach and artichoke quiche.  Breakfast was soooo good.
The kids of course could go in and look at the tree but couldn't touch.
Finally, it was time to open just stockings.  We just let the kids do there own thing.  We do not watch them open the presents one by one.
So excited!!!! The Spirit of Santa this year only gave one candy.  The rest was different things the kids needed.  So lots of fun presents to open.
Finally it's present time.
Makenna loved opening the presents.  We all had to stay super quiet so we didn't distract her.
Love that "SMILE"
Kayden wrapped all his own presents.  LOL  they are very unique.
Makenna's present.
Love my BYU jacket.
Jer, so excited to see what he got.
Chandler is so cute.  He got just what he wanted.
Chadler loves presents.
Kayden played a little joke on Brooklyn.  He opened Brooklyn's gift and just wrapped the empty box.  I thought Brooklyn was going to cry.  She took it like a champ.  She was sad, but once she thought about it she knew Kayden was just playing a trick on her.  The next present was the squibbles kayden removed.  So all is well.
Brooklyn is now collecting Zinkies they are little little animals and crazy people with hair.  They are very cute.
Kaden loves his new Mini Weapon book.  It's got tons of fun ideas.
Brooklyn having a hard time opening the gift.  Lots of tape.
My cute boys.
I love to see Christmas through your eyes.

We hope everyone had an wonderful amazing Christmas.  We hope you were all able to spend it with the ones you love.  We are so Grateful for this time of year to reflect on the Birth of Jesus Christ.  We love you all and wish you all a Very Merry Christmas.

Christmas Eve

My kids think Uncle Jason is the coolest.  They have been waiting all our vacation to  play pool with him.  I don't think they had to twist his arm too much.  We love you Uncle Jason.
Kayden is a pro.  He loved playing.
Miss Brooklyn gave them a run for their money.  She is good.
Even Chandler got to play.
Here is our place settings.  Remember last year with the West's?  go here  We are going to keep this Tradition.
The kids can't wait to open them.
I think they were a big hit with Aunt Loriann, Uncle Jason too!!!  They look very excited to open their poppers.
I also made these name plates again.  They are just too cute.  I made them for Loirann's baby shower and just decided to keep them for our Christmas dinner.
Yummy Spiral ham with homemade pineapple sauce on top.
all the yummy sides.
Jeremy made Tiramisu.  It's so good and it's been a long time since we have had it.  He made it from the cookie up.
We read a scripture chain that Grandma had.  It was a lot of fun.
The best part of Christmas eve is everyone getting jammies. The kids always know  they get jammies but never know what kind.
Oh so much fun.
Well, Mommy knows :-)  but here is a picture to show I am a part of this tradition.  Not always behind the camera.
The cute Hemsley family.
Daddy and Chandler have matching pj's very cute.  We love Angry Birds.
Even Aunt Loriann and Uncle Jason got pj's
Grandma opening her present.  Then she and Makenna had fun popping the bubbles.
