Thursday: Meet and Greet

We got to the Hotel at 1:43pm checked into our hotel and the kid’s immediately started playing. Shaun & Joy had a meeting with their minister, so the kids had about an hour and a half to play before they had to go for a  wedding practice.  Then, the Meet and Greet was at Joy's Grandma's house at 5:00pm.
This was the kids hideout spot.  Here they are playing with Slugs.  AWESOME!!!

While everyone was gone we took a dip in the pool.
It was a beautiful day in Sunny California.

I love these kids.  They all had such a great time catching up and playing.

Monkey in the middle.

Blake & Chandler pretty much were like this the whole time.
They are Handsome Dudes.
Don't they look like Brothers?

Love these cute girls.

It's dinner time.

After dinner we went to a park just up the street so they told us.
It was a never ending road.  But Alas we found the park.

Harley and Brooklyn
Sierra wanted a shoulder ride.

This was the girls #1 source of entertainment.  They loved this game.

After the meet and greet back to the pool we go.

The kids were trying to take the toys from the Dad's.  Who do you think Won?
How many kids does it take???

We missed Grandma B's Birthday.
Well kind of I didn't want to mail her gift and since we were meeting up
I asked if we could give it to her at the hotel.  Here she is with her present.
I think she liked it.

Our trip to Shaun & Joy's Wedding in California

We had a lot of fun driving to the wedding. We played a couple new games thanks to this site .
I think our favorite game was "Estimate the Arrival Time". Before you even turn the car on everyone guesses the exact time to the minute that you'll pull into the driveway of your destination. The winners went as follows. Home to Sacramento, CA 15 hrs. Chandler guessed 9:01pm. We arrived at 9:01pm Exactly right on !!! Sacramento, CA to Redondo Beach 7 hrs 30 min. We arrived at 1:43pm and Kayden guessed 1:45pm. SWEET. Redondo Beach to Klamoth Falls Oregon 12 hrs Brooklyn said 9:10pm we arrived at 9:01.Klamoth Falls Oregon to Home 10 hrs. Kayden said 6:45pm and we got home at 6:20pm. Each winner got to choose a treat. So much fun. We saw 25/50 states and two from Canada in our License plate game. We played Monopoly deal, farkle, ABC memory game I went to the store and bought... Played many versions of the ABC sign game, Radio Scan-You had to say the name and artist of the song before anyone else. Kayden & Jeremy rocked this game. We (Jeremy) saw 8 Golf Courses,23 Police officers, and went through 19 construction zones. Whew what an awesome trip!!!  So much fun being together as a family and making so many memories.
The kids loved Movie time.
It's nice to just sit back and veg on a long car trip.
Thank you headphones.  Made it so Jeremy and I could talk.

This is what happens after traveling all day.  Attack the DAD!!!

Brooklyn trying very hard to get Jeremy on the floor.

Dad is the winner!!!!!
Chandler and Kayden wrestling.
It was pouring rain when we go to Sacramento CA. Chandler slipped and fell.
He was soaking wet. I was drying his clothes with a blow dryer.  Hence the no shirt.

Wow!  Dad can take them both on.  Love it!!!!

This is one of my favorite pictures.  Aweee, everyone needs a sibling to lean on.
Kayden's head is under that blanket.  There were many many naps along the way.

This is the end of our trip.
Everyone survived and we are still smiling.  It's a good DAY

Easter 2012

I love this Family picture.
I just love "Traditions" We have hosted an Easter Egg hunt for the last several years.
We always do it at a park and I love it.  It's so much fun to get together with friends and have a fun hunt.
The Sorensen's
The Sarao's

I some how missed a picture of The Zintz.
But that is Sicilly, Stacia, Tina, Mauvia, and that is Melanie in the back

The Group, Ready to hunt some eggs.

Ben & Jeremy had a blast hiding the eggs this year.  They were really tricky.
Here is Jeremy barring the egg.
Kayden, found an egg.   You know it's interesting how the kids just kind of grow out of things.
Kayden did the hunt but then when he found his 12 eggs he hid them for the little kids. So I asked him if he wanted to hide the eggs next year.  He said "YES" It's sad to watch them grow up.  Kayden however, still wanted us to hide the basket. So not totally out of the EASTER tradition. :-)

Daddy was very tricky!!!
This was the best picture.  Chandler holding on with both legs as he continues up
the tree for that silly egg.

Brooklyn up in the tree.

After the Hunt.  Ben set up his Rocket Launcher.  It was so cool
Kayden, and Chandler just loved it.  I think in the near future we too
will have a rocket launcher.
Beautiful Brooklyn

Most Eligible Bachelor, Chandler

BastianClan all dressed up and going to Church.

After about 2 hrs of hunting we gave Kayden a hint it was in the Garage.
The Garage is still part of the house right?

After two hours hunting we gave Brooklyn a hint.
Never did she think to look under her bed.

Chandler only had to look for about 10 minutes.
We need to be sneaker next year.

My Brother Casey joined us for Easter.
And look he had a basket full of goodies.
After lunch we cleaned up and started to Dye eggs.  So much fun!
I was talking to Aunt Tonna while I dyed eggs.  Talent I know.
Our Beautiful Children.  We sure love them and love hanging with them. We are so grateful for the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ.  For his atoning sacrifice for us. We are grateful that he died and was resurrected so that we too can be resurrected and live with our Heavenly Father again. We love Easter.  We hope you all have a wonderful Easter.  Love to all.
