Jeremy where has 21 years gone?!?
• 15 Moves to include Two Countries (Korea, and Germany) and the following states. Utah, Georgia, Hawaii,Maryland,Washington and New York
•Countless Family Vacations. To include 13 different countries. (Korea, Mexico,Belize,Honduras Germany, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, and Holland, and this year Canada)
• 17 active years in the US Army for a total of 25 years served.
• 6 colleges, two degrees, and all the pre requisite classes for Physician Assistant and or/ Nursing School.
• 16 separation due to the army
• 1 deployment to Afghanistan
• 5 Pregnancies and 3 beautiful miracles.
• 1 missed birth
• 1 missed pregnancy
• 1 High School Graduation
• 1 Son serving a mission in LA California
• 13 surgery's
• 9 Cars, 1 Motorcycle
• 4 dogs( Kolby, Cesear, Zoey, Kaiser)
Jeremy and I planned a fun weekend we left Friday after work.  Went to Alexander Bay about 30 min from home. We go to spend the entire weekend playing at the Bay from  July 19- July 21.
We had dinner reservations at 7:30pm.  We check into our hotel and had a minute to unwind and take some pics around the hotel.  The bay is beautiful.  We got a huge King suite with a jetted tub.  We are so excited to celebrate us.   We went to our dinner reservations and enjoyed a delicious dinner by the water.  It was so relaxing and just enjoyable.  We also go to watch the sun set on the deck of the hotel.

A little history of the castle.   George C. Boldt was an immigrant and worked his way to being a millionaire.
He started off in the service industry and he climbed his way all the way to the top.  He fell in love with the 1,000 Island at Alexander Bay.  He Purchased the Property called Heart Island.  He had the workers blow up parts of the island so if you were looking down from a helicopter you would see the island is a heart. 
He built this Rhineland Castle for his sweet wife Louise.  The Castle was six stories, 120 rooms, with tunnels, a power house, Italian gardens, a drawbridge, alster tower(the children's playhouse) and a dove cote. The castle was 80% complete and  He was just about to take Louise  to see it.  However Louise died suddenly and George Boldt never stepped foot on the island again.  This story was so heart breaking to me.  The castle is just beautiful and everything is hearts.  The benches hearts, the gardens hearts, the railing hearts,  It is a remarkable castle.  It's so sad that Gorge left it behind and people came and stole things from it and the structure over time had some damage.  The castle was sold to the state for $1.00 with some restrictions.  Because Louise never got to stay in the castle no one else got to stay the night in the Castle.  All the money that is made by those that tour the castle goes back into the castle.  They keep making imporvemnts and are trying to finish rooms of the castle.  They told us they will never be finished with the Castle because Louise never got to  see the castle finished.

George changed the name of the island from Hart island to Heart Island.
Louises birthday was on Feb 14th and they were married on Feb 14th.  No wonder they wanted their island to be named Heart Island.

Our next tour was the Singer Castle.
This castle was indeed owned by the owner of the singer sewing machine.

You can however rent the entire caste for $700 per night and Have the entire castle to yourself.

Tonight Jeremy and I went on a Dinner Cruise.

On Sunday we hopped on our boat and took the two nations tour.  It was a 2 1/2 hour tour that took us into the waters of Canada.  We go tto see the million dollar area with some beauitful homes.  We got to go under the canadian bridge. 

We ended our weekend with watching the new Lion King.

We sure made some wonderful memories.  It was such a laid back wonderful celebration.  Happy Happy 21st anniversary My love!
