Avenue of the Giants (Red Wood Forest)

As we headed home from Disney we decided we

wanted to take a different route and go see the

Red Wood Forest.

This was our first stop and taste of these

beautiful amazing trees.

This is called Chandelier Tree-you can literally

drive right through the tree. Wow!!!

We took the old route to Cresent City. It was

36 miles of beautiful amazing Red Wood Trees.

The route is called Avenue of the Giants. And boy

where they amazing. We hit the Avenues a little late

since we had been driving for 11 hours so some of the pictures

are a little dark. Some pictures have some awesome lighting

because the sun was going down and hit the trees just right.

AWESOME!!!

Talk about a tunnel of Trees.How amazing is this?

Jeremy, was so awesome he kept pulling

off the road so we or I could take pictures

of the amazing views. Love it!

This tree was the Founders Tree. It was huge.

They say it was the biggest tree. But not sure we believe them.

We saw some pretty big trees some looked like they were bigger.

But what do we know????
