Alice and Wonderland

Brooklyn and Chandler got to audition for the play Alice in Wonderland by Razz.Ma.Tazz Family Theater at the Ramstein Community Center.  There were 106 children that auditioned for the Play.  They only had spots for thirty-nine children.  Brooklyn and Chandler were so excited when they were called back for call backs.  Brooklyn was cast as "Dove" one of the birds in the Caucus race.  And Chandler was cast as the Mad Hatter.  We have been practicing this play since January and had five Performances March 16,17, 23,24 and 25.  I had the opportunity to help Kara (The Director) with running lines, and taking notes, and just being her assistant in all things theater.  I had a blast helping.  I really hope some day I can not only help the Director but maybe even Direct my own play.

It's always fun to learn a new skill.  Our make-up designer was amazing Emma Cammack has been trained in theater make up and has worked as an artist in commercials, tv, and tv shows such as skin wars and fresh paint.  It was pretty cool that Brooklyn not only got to use all her tools but she also got to learn from her.  Awesome
